Blacksburg High School’s Thanksgiving Basket program is an annual community outreach program that aims to provide Thanksgiving dinners to families in need. The program has raised thousands of dollars for Thanksgiving dinners throughout the New River Valley and continues to support the community by distributing over 600 Thanksgiving baskets each year.
The cost of each basket is approximately $35, and any food or financial donations are always appreciated. Public donations always help us reach, if not, exceed our goal.
This program is a testament to the students’ commitment to giving back to the community and ensuring that everyone has a happy Thanksgiving holiday.
