The Blacksburg Golf Team thunderstruck Heritage Oaks Golf Course yesterday and won the Class 4 State Golf Championship.  The boys and girl were back in black and battled windy conditions to defeat 7 other teams to win its fifth state golf title in a row.  Led by its top two golfers, Cameron "Sharp-Shooter" and "Shootah" Jack Skinner, the Bruins posted the winning score of 293, winning by 18 shots over Jamestown and Broad Run.  Sharp and Skinner, with scores of 72, finished as State runner-ups and made the All-State Team.  Also, contributing to the team score were Seth Alba and Jack Herbert, who also made the All-State team.  Congratulations Bruin golfers!  With apologies to Queen, "We are the champions!  We are the champions....of the State!!"
